Our Partnership | Ofsted Reports

The Apollo Partnership Trust (APT) was founded in November 2017, the founding member schools being The Castle Rock School, The  Newbridge School and Broom Leys Primary School.

In March 2020, King Edward VII joined the Trust; From September 1st King Ed VII and Castle Rock merged to create the The Castle Rock School.

We have embarked upon an exciting new journey to work in partnership to change and improve the educational landscape for the pupils and students in Coalville and the surrounding area.

Each academy has a local governing body, whose governors oversee the running of the academy on behalf of the Trust. The local governing bodies have specific delegated authority as per the APT scheme of delegation. We believe that they have a critical role to play in improving the educational opportunities of our young people.
